Entertainment Weekly divulgou a primeira foto oficial de The Hobbit , dirigido por Peter Jackson. Nestas fotos vemos Martin Freeman como Bilbo Baggins e Ian McKellen , que retorna ao papel de Gandalf, o Cinzento . Na última foto, vemos o diretor e Freeman no set:
